We are OPEN!

After a long 7 weeks of website orders, phone orders and Curbside Delivery only, we have opened our doors to customer visits!

Masks are required for entering the shop to browse, and we’ve placed hand sanitizer at the door and at the counter (which we will appreciate you using). We’re taking credit cards, cash and checks. We’ll be so happy to see you!

We’re happy to deliver Curbside to your trunk, if this is still what you prefer. Call your bird seed orders in, we do not have seed on our website.

On our website we do have lots of bird feeders, binoculars, telescopes and our exclusive Birder Tripod, as well as books, nesting boxes, poles, and hooks and brackets. Do some browsing online, and call us with any questions. Some of our larger bird feeder poles and brackets are and always will be Curbside Pickup only. This is because both packing them and the cost of shipping is prohibitive.

During these last 7 weeks, we so appreciated your phone calls, patience, patronage and support as we all navigated these challenging times. It was a new way to try to get you the things you need, and at times it was quite hectic. If you were unable to get through on the never-ending ringing phone or we had to hang up quickly, we apologize. There’s nothing we’d rather do than help you find the right seed, bird feeder or book, we just had to juggle a ton of phone calls….

Jerry, Janet, Matthew, Scott and Tom are so very thankful that we were able to do what we do with doors closed. We’re very sorry to have had to cancel our early Spring Bird Walks at Hammonasset. There was just no good, safe way to conduct these, as teaching bird watching involves close contact.

We sincerely hope that all of you and your families are well, stay well, and have enjoyed some nature viewing and bird watching during the last few months. We are thankful that it’s spring, trees and flowers are blooming and the hummingbirds are back!
