A customer came into the shop on 1/5/12 to get some seed, and casually mentioned that she thought she had a Yellow-throated Warbler eating regularly at her feeder. We immediately thought "Pine" or "Common Yellowthroat" because its very easy for the inexperienced to confuse warblers ~ heck, even the experienced have a difficult time, occasionally!
She seemed to have the description down, and when we looked through a field guide together she was fairly certain.
She's right here in Madison, so Jerry ran over to snap a few pics. One here, one below.

As we head into winter, feeder activity will increase. We've noticed lots more Chickadees, Titmice, woodpeckers, and our winter visitors back at the feeders.
