The Aspects Round Seed Tray catches falling seeds, reduces debris underneath your feeder and it makes your feeder more accessible to a wider variety of birds. A seed tray is a must have for larger birds.
It accommodates both small birds like Chickadees, Goldfinch, Nuthatches, as well as larger birds such as Bluejays, Mourning Doves and Cardinals, some of our favorite backyard birds. In spring here in the northeast, you may even see a Rose-breasted Grosbeak on it!
This tray is 8 1/2″ in diameter x 1″ deep and fits all Aspects 2 3/4″ diameter bird feeders, such as the Medium Seed Tube Feeder and our Medium Nyjer Bird Feeder. (All tubular feeders except 4″ diameter Big Tubes). It screws on the bottom of a threaded 1/2″ round hole in the bottom of the feeder. If you have a non-Aspects bird feeder, make sure it has a 1/2″ diameter threaded hole in the bottom.
The tray is also easy to detach, when you’re cleaning your feeders.
Another bonus: most of us put our feeders on the ground to refill with a scoop. The seed tray keeps the feeder upright on the ground, so it won’t tip over.
