Our Birdie Tweets Nesting Material is the perfect, clean lining for your local birds to use. Hang it in a clean suet cage, or use it to refill your existing grapevine nesting ball!

Description

Our Birdie Tweets Nesting Material is the perfect soft, clean fur that birds love to line nests with! Chickadees and Titmice, among other birds, have been seen flying away with bits of this in their bills.

During spring when nest building is going on, birds are on the lookout for suitable fur and even pine needles to line their nests. Fur keeps the fledglings nice and warm.

This is genuine cleaned Merino Wool, jute, field grasses (no seeds), and white pine needles. We love offering this nesting material, even placing it in a suet cage.

All the materials used in this pack are naturally sought after by wild birds to line their nests.

Product Details:

Merino Wool: the wool has been cleaned, carded and handled organically. All material strands are also no longer than 2 “ – as suggested by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, to help prevent matting/tangling for the safety of the birds.

100% Merino wool is sourced from Michigan sheep ranches: The partnering ranches take pride in their low carbon footprint and humane care for their sheep. The Merino wool is mite, mold and mildew resistant, fire retardant and water repellent.

The package label is recycled paper and the bag is made of 100% plant material and certified 100% Compostable.

We recommend hanging your Birdie Tweets Nesting Material away from a busy feeding station.

Fluff up the wool (pull it apart) before installing it in your container.

Made in the USA!
