Our Brome Squirrel Buster Evolution Bird Feeder is everything you want in a feeder: Patented squirrel-proof technology, a no-tools component system that makes it so easy to clean, and with new features like a Double-Cardinal Ring which welcomes a spectrum of sizes of birds, and a patented water diversion system designed to keep seed dry. With a 1.3 quart / 1.9 lbs / 0.85 kg seed capacity, this is a perfect feeder for no mess seed blends.

TRULY SQUIRREL PROOF™: Openings in the shroud align with the feeding ports, providing birds access to the food. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down, closing access to the ports. Squirrels and some large birds are foiled but not harmed in any way.
CHEW PROOF: All feeder parts exposed to squirrels are made with chew proof materials.
DETACHABLE COMPONENT SYSTEM™: Squirrel Buster® squirrel-proof bird feeders are designed to be dismantled by hand into individual components without the use of tools. This allows for easy cleaning and maintenance.
WATER DIVERSION SYSTEM: Unique to the Evolution, our water diverter features a two-part design with a trough and spout, complemented by a drip edge above each seed port. This innovation guarantees that water never compromises the dryness of the birdseed.
SEED VENTILATION SYSTEM™: Transparent seed tubes trap solar energy. Conventional seed tube designs block the escape of the heated air. Where to locate your feeder
Position your feeder wherever you like to get great close-up views of your favorite birds. Hang it over a window, in a tree, on a deck, from a fence, in your garden, on the side of your house, from a rain trough or over sliding doors. Use brackets, extension hooks and tree hooks to hang your feeder at the 18-inch (47 cm) recommended clearance.
Need for clearance
Remember it’s a squirrel’s weight that triggers the closing mechanism. If a squirrel can reach over from a nearby foothold and avoid placing its weight on the feeder, it can access the birdseed. To overcome this problem, allow for at least 18 in./47 cm of clearance around the feeder. This will force the squirrel to climb onto the feeder and trigger the closing mechanism
