Our handy Wood Bluebird House Predator Guard is available for placement on a bluebird box that does not have one already installed on it. It comes with pre-drilled and with two screws for easy installation. Hole size is 1.5″.
This predator guard prevents a Raccoon or other long-armed critter from reaching in and grabbing young or otherwise disturbing the nest. The extra 1″ depth is a good deterrent.
Customers also use these to repair existing nesting boxes that may have chewed entrance holes. We recommend adding our Copper Bluebird House Portal as an inexpensive insurance policy.
